£1500 carbon bike

i have a budget of around £1500 and looking for a bike to use for sportives and summer use, i have a focus variado just now which i'am really happy with but im looking for something a bit lighter; it weighs about 25pounds. i would like a bike that is light enough to climb well and would sacrafice a bit of comfort for a bit more speed. Would appreciate any comments especially on what material to go for carbon,alu or ti my budget would just stretch to van nicholas mistral
