Lowther Hills - SW Scotland

Has anyone ridden the natural trails in the Lowther Hills - around Wanlockhead/Drumlanrig? Is there a decent guidebook/website describing the trails? I have the opportunity to ride in this area next weekend....

Did a route around the Wanlockhead area a couple of months back. Found it in a guide book I bought (need to hunt it out - forget the name of it). The route followed parts of the Southern Upland Way. Pretty decent route. Not much in the way of singletrack and such like, but still it was a nice day out over some lovely rolling hills.

Whether it's worth travelling to would depend on how far you're travelling for it
