bike setup question
i'm going to buy a baordman team carbon road bike as there medium frame.
question i have is that i also had a bike fitting session and i have some concerns..
bike setup states stem length of 120mm, with top tube of frame 557mm and seat tube c-c of 560mm (the main measurements), others like crank arm length of 172.5mm
the boarman bike has stem of 110mm, top tube of 560mm and seat tube c-t of 530mm. (crank arm of 172.5)
what i'm looking for is do i need to change my stem length to 120mm from 110mm ?, and is there anything else i should be doing, i have to state where i had the bike fittings a suggestion was made for various bike of which one was a giant defy 2 which is of simular geometry to the boardman.
anyone know what changes i should make or have reasons to leave the bike purchase as is from new and just setup saddle height, bar position etc.. ??..
sorry for these questions but i'm a mtb'er normally, just fancy the option to have a change in style and type of riding..

Sounds like it'll be ok, see how you get on and if it's too short, get a new stem via here or ebay, selling the one that came with it once you've confirmed you like the longer one...0

thanks, trouble is i'm not sure what i'm doing when it comes to road bikes, i guess if i get issues with comfort then i'd need to look at slightly lenghting the stem, but due to the bike fitting stating a 120mm stem and this bike from buying new only has a 110mm stem plus a difference of 30mm on the seat tube i could not work out or know what that difference meant to me.
i'll buy as new and try it i think see how it feels then if a few months and i'm still struggling i'll change it.Cube Sl Road for sale
