They're heavier than Aksiums so I'd just get some Aksiums instead. Cheaper and a proven wheel already.
    More problems but still living....

Andy from Kinetic-One Here. Just came across this posting about our wheels. We're a small specialist bike builder and bike fit specialist - so I'm never surprised when people haven't heard of our bikes and equipment.

Best testament to their quality is to say that we had these wheels commissioned specifically for our range of custom built bikes. See www.kinetic-one.co.uk - Like all bike builders We live or die by the quality of our bikes.

We even spec them on our £2k bikes as standard as a price comparison - they are far superior to Aksiums, and Fulcrum 7's and other wheelsets at similar pricepoints. We've used them for several years and have been selling them retail for 2 years and have sold over 700 sets. We buy direct from factory so the price is good becasue there are no wholesalers taking a cut. We love them lots.

I hope this unashamed sales pitch offers some sort of reassurance too! If you look on our site you can alos see customer testimonials and links to reviews of our bikes which have the K1 wheels on!
