Glasses that don't make right turns an adventure?

Hi:
The frame of my sunglasses gets in the way when I'm looking over my shoulder before pulling out into the middle of the road.
This led to me missing cars that I should really have seen, so I stopped wearing them. Next thing I got wacked in the eye at 20 mph by a bee the size of a sparrow.
So... any recommendations for glasses that leave you with good peripheral vision?
Non-prescription is fine but ideally would like interchangeable lenses so I can use them in a wider range of conditions.
Ta.

have a look at oakley's radar path
interchangeable lenses, excellent optiical quality, no distortion even at the extreme edges, and the frame doesn't extend down the sides so good peripheral vision, i've not found them to restrict view when looking behind
so far, insects ping off them, haven't tried sparrow sized bees thoughmy bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0 -
+1 Radar Paths, IMHO the best cycling glasses you can buy0

Radars are good, but Pro M's are better. Shame you can't get them anymore. Lucky I have 4 pairs 8)0 -
If you want panoramic vision with sparrow bee protection you need some old Oakleys as worn by Phil Anderson.
