Newbie wants Flat bar Road bike - approx £400

Hi all, im in the market for a road bike but gotta have flat bar handle bars, i just cant get on with the hunched over style bars, plus i could use the flat bars easier around town.
budget of approx £400
i want the wheel & rim style of the ATALA SLR 100 (not saying ill get this bike tho)
i live in lincolnshire (east) so its very very flat but we have some excellent country/coastal roads
ive been using my everday mtb to ride, approx doing 100 mile per week, but want an extra bike for road
any pointers or links to bikes that fit requirements?

I have never heard of Atala but hey I am no expert but if I was in your shoes with your budget I would find a local bike shop that sells Specialized and ask to test ride the Sirrus.0
