Why did I not know about this?! Episode 1 is up, so I presume they are back to series instead of movies! Just going to watch it now.

If anyone cares, its to be found for streaming in the usual places.

Will it be less rubbish than the films? I loved the earlier series but my god, Bender's Big Score was feeble in places. No comic timing at all, it just felt like a 30 minute episode padded out with nothing at all.

yep the series is up and yep its gonna be a series. I enjoyed the films though, although I'm easily pleased. I may watch a new episode when i get in later though

I think it's a two-episode season starter, so look for another episode (unless it's a one-hour special).

I agree, the films were lacklustre, but the buzz about the new season (26 glorious episodes!) is good. Comedy Central have had a 'hands-off' policy. letting Groening and Cohen get on with it. And Fox stopped their puerile 'ooh, let's pretend we're not going to hire the original voice cast' posturing so it's business as usual.
