2007 trek 1.7 road bike

I am looking to sell the above bike. It was my first proper road bike and am now looking to upgrade.
I have no idea how much it is worth and am looking for any advice.

It has a full shimano 105 set up and is in good condition.

There are several things you could do to find out the "possible" value.

Take it to the shop you intend to buy the new bike from and ask if they will take it in part exchange.

Take it to any other lbs and ask them if they want to buy it, bear in mind they will have to make a profit on selling it on because they need to make their wages.

Look on ebay for similar bikes in similar condition and see what they sell/sold for.

Put an ad in the classified section with a price you would be happy to sell it for and if it doesn't sell reduce the price accordingly.

Any bike is worth what someone who wants that bike is willing to pay for it and if you are happy to sell it at that price then go for it.

Cheers for that I will look at all the options available as I don't want to add to the 2 bikes I already have which are no longer being used.
