Track standing at traffic lights last night, left bike in top gear. Put the power down and the chain slipped off front cog....ensuing comedy wobbling and bike wrestling

Seat ended up virtually embedding itself in my kidney, right leg is cheese-grated from gear and brake cables on top tube, and right knee ballooned after pedal hit it. Oh, and lots of oil and grease in the wound that I can't get out. Nice

But its still sunny and it'll heal

At least you have a reasonable excuse. I'm covered head to toe in bruises and cuts because I keep falling off. Granted it's generally off road, but I still get some funny looks at work. I currently have a sprained wrist which i damaged trying to improve my bunny hops.

Just out of interest, at what age should I give up on shit like that and just accept that I have to get off and walk round?
