Hello,
Someone I work with is selling a mint condition Stumpjumper FSR Comp '07 at a low price, the only problem is it is a small and I am 6ft and 85kg.

I am planning on cycling the west highland way and great glen way this summer so would be using it for that.

I have ridden the bike and it actually seems quite a comfortable fit, it could maybe do with a slightly longer stem. Does anyone know if I'll be too heavy for this size of bike (i.e. braking, frame, forks, rear shock) or if there are any issues that I may not be aware of?

The spec and dimensions for the bike are here: http://www.specialized.com/gb/en/bc/SBCBkModel.jsp?arc=2007&spid=22213&menuItemId=0

I would also be grateful to hear any opinions on this bike.

Thanks in advance

If your six foot you would at least need a medium no matter how much of a bargain it is....it is way to small and you would look like an ape at monkey world riding a toy trike...a nice piece of kit though..

If the world was flat, I wouldn't be riding !

If the price is that good, buy it, sell it on at a profit and put the cash towards a bike that is the right size for you.

OK thanks for info, I've got a picture of donkey kong on riding a full suss in my head now!

Buying to sell may well be a good option. The seller is wanting £400 for it, do you reckon I could get more than that selling it on?

    Cheers
