LOL, no the only man who still tries to dominate me is the old man but even he is struggling now at 73 to be fair.

I always love second hand but you do need to be careful for example look at this jokers description;

I agree with you Stefano on that assessment but just occasionally there are some cracking bargains that turn up with Buy It Now prices on eBay.

In the last 12 months I have bought some of the following (all complete bike):

Specialized Roubaix Elite (carbon & 105) for £425 (absolute bargain - not nicked before somebody suggests it was)
An old steel Pinarello Treviso for £100 (since sold it )
A Trek Madone 5.2 (carbon & ultegra) for £600

They occasionally pop-up but you have to move quickly when they do!

I'd most likely trust folk on here a lot more than some chump on ebay but after a quick butchers there seems to be nothing worth looking at on the bay anyway, probably because this is the time of year everyone starts to like the idea of cycling
