best bike mechanics book and DH/Trial saddle needed??

looking for a DH/Trial saddle as i have a xc one on at the mo and thinking a little comfort maybe be bliss....and i need a complete book to help me maintain my mountain bike.

    a paper book is out of date as soon as it is printed.

    With the internet these days you dont really need manuals. You can read a faq and watch videos. Which i done to learn about my bike (rear shock, Hydraulic brakes etc)

    Haynes manuals = retro to the max.
