Am planning a trip up to Morpeth area later in the year, and have planned a few routes already. What I need though is some local advice re bike friendly cafes in the area. I've already spotted one called the Impromptu cafe in Elsdon....was mentioned in Cycling +. But am now looking for something in the Shilbottle, High Buston, Eastfield, Warkworth, Amble area....do any of you guys in the Morpeth area have any suggestions.
Am also looking for something similar for the Sunday ride in the Melbourne, Stamfordham, Kirkheaton area.
Grateful for any help
PeteM

there's a list on the above website

for your coastal ride there's plenty of choice in Warkworth

for the other ride, the tea room in Capheaton is usually mobbed with cyclists

There's a nice one in Belsay, full of Gosforth riders on Saturdays.

Nice caff in Warkworth at the bottom of the hill - great cakes!!

Also Alnmouth has a couple of nice caffs, if you push on past Warkworth.

    Amble is a s***hole.
