Yes as delicate a topic as it sounds - I went out last night and did a really good time - by my low standards - showered and all the post ride stretches etc.
Now the tops of my inner legs feel really swollen - and are rubbing together when I walk -is this normal because of the heat ? - or something else ?

Get some Chamois Cream, I use Udderly sMOOth
Lamasil gets rid of the rash, if there is one.
Any other symptoms, see a DocRichard
Giving it Large0 -
If this is a recurring problem (and always in the same place) then rub a load of vaseline on the area before you set off on a ride.0

I also trim the hair down there so it doesn't get it the way, as well as using the chamois cream. Cannot bring myself to shave it all off and find it reasonably comfortable with just a trim!!! (had to shave it all off once for a hernia op and it itched like buggery when it did grow back and I don't want that again)Limited Edition Boardman Team Carbon No. 448

How long after cycling are your legs rubbing?
Take a cold shower, not warm. Will help with recovery and stop the rubbing a bit.0 -
Sudocrem after the ride. Sorts out any chafing.0

+1 for Udderly Smooth (I keep a tub next to the bed, don't read anything into that it's just handy when I'm gretting ready to go out) and Sudocrem for after the ride.0

I've been having a bit of trouble with this, as I have eczema, so it gets really itchy and horrible down there in this hot weather. Today I found a tester tub of Assos cream, and tried that instead of the Udderly Smooth cream I normally use. The cooling sensation was very pleasurable on my itchy bits, and I'm about to order a big pot of it.0
