Have bought a second hand frame, how do I determine what size bottom bracket I need for it?

Knowing make of frame will help. Most frames are BS threads - exceptions are many Italian-built frames and some old Raleigh and French ones. Type of BB depends on model of chainset
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
  • Its a BSA thread, and I will be using campagnolo chainset. Its a futura victor carbon fibre frame. Currently has a 115mm BB in (which needs replacing) so not sure if I need to put same size back in or not - so much choice of sizes

Depends on model of Campagnolo chainset as there are two sizes needed for square taper chainsets. Record and Chorus take 102mm, whereas Centaur and below is 111mm.
