Turned them down though because they have restrictions on them prohibiting onward sale.

It's definitely more enjoyable than alot of sports to watch.... You got the women's games for eye candy and watching any of the top 3 men is pretty awesome.

I like most sports but I hate watching tennis, I think it's the scoring system that annoys me most, I'm just not entirely sure why. And all the Henman/Rusedski/Murray fans on that stupid hill! And the women are mostly munters.0

Mehh, first learn how to play ... get basic mechanics of stroke right lol, then you gonna enjoy yourself. Watching while understanding gets much more interesting though, I even lol at my own post. How miserable is it?

Maybe OP doesn't actually play tennis but instead runs around collecting balls, that will put anyone off the game. Tennis ball basket+dozen of balls with Coach, your game and understanding sorted.
I actually like -new generation- style of tennis instead of bloody mechanical -classic style- type of tennis, playing -classic style- makes you feel like a robot. Thats why I can watch for hours at how natural Nadal plays or wicked wrist move of Federer's back hand squash stylee, -new generation- tennis all the way!
