Thought I'd get this started for the next weekend which again looks like good weather
Saturday is looking best for me and perhaps doing something a little longer than the nomral 70 miles through the Surrey Hills. Keen to get out early so suggest meeting at Richmond Gate at 8 a.m.
As always the rules stay the same after 18 months:
ø Anyone is welcome to attend
ø Will average somewhere between 16-18 mph
ø No one gets dropped and we'll regroup at the top of hills
ø We'll find a tea and cake stop (most likely Box Hill)
Hope to see you there

Really enjoyed today's ride - excellent weather and and good a reminder it isn't always about hammering along as fast as you can (though I still have a very respectable 27 kph / 17 mph average speed)
A good group out too including bolstering our numbers our run in
Mykee - good to see you and hope you enjoyed the blast in - don't the group as a whole quite had the legs for your pace!
Lastly for those interested, this is the route we took:

I enjoyed that run. Was a fast pace on the run out. Sorry to bail on the run back, needed to get home.
I noticed there where a few extras as we left BH. Hope they had a good run back too?
Always good to ride some different roads and get out of the rut of always riding the same roads.
Thanks.It's the vibe of the thing.0 -
Completely agree - great run out and excellent to have a bit of a peloton on the way back.
Good to meet you Mike, I think I'd lost my mojo by the time we got to Epsom so sorry I didn't keep with you. I was happy with a pootle by that point.
Will, good effort with the route. Cracking stuff.0 -
Thanks for a great ride guys.
Struggling up the hills as always, one of these days I'll work out how to make it downhill all the way there and back0 -
