Spectating at la marmotte

So I'm riding la marmotte in a few days time. Mrs Raynaw is also travelling out with me but will not be riding. She will however have a car and surprisingly, is keen to cheer me on over a pass or two.
I'm trying to put together a route for her but am struggling to work out which roads will be closed and which open to traffic to allow her to get to and between some senisble places to watch. Can anyone help? or even better has anyone done similar in the past and able to make some suggestions for a couple of good places to watch from?
Thanks in advance.

don't quote me on this but I only thought the Glandon climb was closed to cars, which would make sense as it'll be 10 deep in bikes come the race.
It'd say go to the top section of the Galibier climb, and drive up to it the opposite way to the bikes so she can avoid the bikes in the morning. This is the most pictureque climb IMO. Later she can drive back down the climb, back to Bourg - the road is fairly wide so she can avoid the cyclists, and meet up wth you at the Alp.
Good luck! I'll be thereFacts are meaningless, you can use facts to prove anything that's remotely true! - Homer0 -
She could watch you at the top of the galibier, follow you down and go up the col de sarenne to see you on alpe d'huez0
