Two weeks ago I spotted bristolpete's beautiful Dogma on here and i just had to get one .
I had seen them back in december , It was love at first sight but at £3500 for frameset
It was out of reach so i got an SL2 roubaix frameset instead .
SL2 is now my winter wheels !

Two weeks ago i picked up my dogma frame set size 57.5 in black carbon red and silver
I built her with sram red and american classic 420 areo wheels .
my dogma built only weighs 7.2 kg
I have to admit i was a little nervous and worried that the ride on this full throttle race bike was going to be harsh as it was reported to be so stiff .
I had been ridding a Roubaix which was very smooth in deed .
I finished building her the same day i picked up the frame, At 5pm that day i set of on what was to be the ride of my life !
First thing that shocked me was how smooth and quiet it was.
This bike felt smoother then the Roubaix ! How ?
I knew the road i was on well and knew how the road felt on the roubaix , man holes pot holes i was in them all as i could just not believe the ride quality , Then bang I felt that one . I Big hole about 4" deep with sharp edges , so she is so smooth to point , then stiff as Iron . My Roubaix had zerts inserts to dampen road noise , which did a good job
but on the dogma , what i thought were just an image thing , a flash design the carved and wavy looking frame and folks , were doing all the noise dampening the zerts did but looked great too . (Those zerts are not nice to look at )
Wright so im made up with the smooth ride , now lets Boot this thing !
Out my seat and BANG this thing just fly's
Get out your seat and push it ! well you had better hold tight because she hold's no hostages
Every watt you put into the peddle come strait out the back wheel , no loss of power at all
As for handling she feels like it has four wheel drive , it's on rails ,just so planted
Yet so smoooooth and confident
They say you get what you pay for with most things you buy , I got to say with this dogma ,even at £3500 it is so true .
I have three carbon bikes in my biking life time 1 st Boardman team carbon £1000 , 2 nd specialized SL2 Framset £1800
And the dogma £3500 .
Every step up in price has had an equivalent step up in ride quality and style

Dogma all the way and lever looking back
I Like to ride my bicycle , i like to ride my bike

Just had the same experience with my newly built up Cento Uno - floaty, fast, and just fall over beautiful.
you get what you pay for!

I hope it was worth the wait.

    Pazman,

Like the colour scheme you've chosen and you're write up too. I'm not a big fan of Pinarello's but your one looks really good - great job. Glad you're enjoying it and was interested in your comments on your Roubaix SL2 as I like those too (nice winter bike by the way). Have fun.

Good to hear it. Happy days. Excellent. That the Etape? My friend is riding - either way I wish you luck with those climbs. Nice work on the miles. Gotta make the most of summer while the light is good.
