As above.

between 3.30 and 4.30 yesterday afternoon, the bike was removed from my back garden

Black/Grey, dart 2 front forks, missing right toe clip (my only bike without spd pedals)

damage to tube from previous attempted theft.
They laughed when I said I was going to be a comedian. Well, they're not laughing now.

    I'm sceptical. I've asked for some pictures of the frame scratching, as I know mine had a bit from a previous attempted theft.

    this is just a few miles from my house, and of course could be entirely coincidental.

    reply is "under the frame where its been on my bike rack", strangely enough sounds like it was where my scratches were...

    I can't get onto Ebay. But when did the auction start? You could always put a massive bid on and report it to police.

    i've reported it. the seller has called me, and will let me go and see it. the back wheel is buckled (as mine was), but if they keep the same rims on, I changed the rear inner tube. the fact that he asked someone in the background the answer to every question I asked him, but insisted it was his bike was the giveaway!
