Scottish coast to coast?

i did the english coast to coast last year and the route we followed was very sketchy in places- lots of pushing through bog and carrying over rocks. Has anyone done fort william to montrose and how was the route?

    There is An Ullapool To Argay Coast to Coast my school did (Didnt do it personally). But they have maps etc that we got off the maths teacher who organises it and we were going to do it this year. Just a thought
