Morning everyone ..... being a complete newbie here I thought i'd show you all what i've started using ..... mainly for my commute to work, but as a weekend ride too.

Now I know it's probably a million miles away from what most people are using but for the price I paid it's great. I've had no troubles with the bike so far and I thought was a good way for me to try cycling again without paying out big money then have it just sat around not being used.

As you can see i've tweaked the graphics a tad. It's always handy working for a graphics company.

So what do you think ??

£137.00 for the bike and £15.00 delivery if I remember rightly, so a bit of a bargain. :D

What's with the barcode and MASSIVE brand naming?

It's a decent enough bike for starting commuting, especially for 137 quid, considering that most bikes for that price are junk from ASDA. Looks like the break levers need shifting down the bars abit though.

I work for a graphics company and just felt like something a bit more in your face than the graphics that the bike came with. The barcode stems from our company logo and fancied using it on the bike. :D

I did think the break levers sat a bit high on the bars. Can you tell i'm new to this ??

There should be a little screw in the side of the levers, undoing this will loosen this, however the bar tape might be in the way for them to be moved down properly, so you might need to take the tape off to do it.

Thanks for the tip ..... I'll try and give that a go this weekend. While i'm in bike mode it'll give me the motivation to get the mountain bike out and give it a good service.

You've put the 'tredz' decal on the front fork on the wrong way round...
