2010 Marin Palisades Trail or 2010 Gary Fisher Piranha?

So I test drove these two bikes a couple of times and they both feel really good. Which one to buy (they are both the same price)?

    To be brutally honest neither seem that well specced at full price, but the Piranha is cheaper usually so would be the I'd go for if you like it.

    Yes, I realize they're both "low end", but I really need to stick to my budget. I'd rather have a crappy bike than none at all.

    According to their website, I found that Marin only warrants frames for 3 years so I'll probably go with the Gary Fisher.

    I'm not saying they are low end - far from it. What I am saying is there are other bikes that offer a lot more for the cash,

    have a look at paulscycles.co.uk as their are some killer deals on his website and i have had shedloads of bikes for me and my family over the years and his customer service is very good. gary fisher bikes are very well priced for the spec but the marins are way overpriced in my opinion, fishers are fantastic bikes and would win over the marin every time, also try the chris boardman range at halfords as they are unbelievable value for money.
