Is there any cycle riders from middlesex london who would be interested in joining me for cycle rides locally

    Ammacorider, 2miles is a bit pessimistic. As far as it stands from my point of view, there are 3-4 riders based around Harrow. Don't be shy to visit -London Calling- thread, as there is a group of various fitness. Seriously though, for you ... maybe commute via harrow hill towards canal and put some mileage down there? Think that would be the bestest bit to start towards your MTB greatness!

    I even, most probably could link you up with other very green beginner to team up too, he lives somewhere in Central Harrow and is quite unfit. So, yeah ... canal paths is the right choice I suppose. With right company and heartfull chit-chat you wouldn't even notice 10miles going by 8) .

    I'll choose not put too much stake into someone's opinion who is admittingly terrible though

    ride on the roads for gods sake, no wonder people get a bad name for bikes being on paths!!
