Who else is riding this event?
I've ridden all parts of the route at various times but this looks like a good day out. Only 93 miles or so but 3000 m or so of climbing in one of Britain's best areas for cycling. I just have the feeling that perhaps the turnout might be quite small which would be a shame.

I'm trying to get it organised, as it's good training for the Marmotte, but I'm still 50/50 as to whether I'll manage it.

Good route - takes in many of my training rides/hills.

I'd recommend any potential rider to give it a go, as the Forest of Bowland is cracking countryside.

I'll be there! I've ridden the route.....but not all in one go :) It's very scenic. Sve a bit in your legs for the end. There are 2 horrible, fairly steep climbs out of Sabden en route back to Barley. Nick of Pendle's not the end!
    Good luck.

I'm doing the 60 miler version, but I've also got 15 miles each way from the B&B to top it up. Staying on for a few days too to investigate the more well known climbs in the dales.

Stil trying to decide what to do about watching the RR - go on the bike or go for a ride in the morning and drive over to see the end of the women's and full men's without having a bike to fend for.
