I have been looking to upgrade my Santa Cruz Blur LT2 to a LTc but i also wanted to upgrade to a tapered steer at the same time. Now for a new steer for my 2010 Revelations fisher quote £235. Can people see any down fall with just changing the crown and stanchons over? Saves me spending double that on a new fork when the fork is perfect.

It will work fine - of course have to swap the internals around.
Could consider selling your fork and buying a new one - that way will be no work, and a fresh warranty on all the fork.0 -
Yes i have thought about selling them and buying some of the 2011 ones with the carbon crown and steer tube...0
