Me again,
I think that there is a perception amongst some pedestrians that a bike traveling at 50kph won't hurt if it hits you. Or that the rider will bottle out, brake or swerve. It's very common here for people to walk across junctions when the lights are on green for traffic but there are no motor vehicles, just me. I get the feeling they think, "Oh, it's just a cyclist".
Maybe some sort of road safety film of bicycles hitting inattentive morons is required...Head Hands Heart Lungs Legs0 -
