Specialized Tarmac Pro SL 2009 Frame Advice (Fact 10r)

I've come by some kit and want to know if I've bought a bargain or not! Had to act fast.

What would be a fair price for one of these? It's in fantastic condition hardly ridden (1-200 miles?). It's got one of the FACT carbon cranksets with it as well, so what would that add to the value?

I'm weighing up hanging onto it vs selling.

Thanks

Well the S-Works Tarmac frame is £1899 RRP from Specialized, but think you can get them for £1600 if you try hard enough- certainly my nearest concept store would discount by 10%

I would imagine to buy the Pro frame retail would be about a grand, maybe more-so to buy new with the carbon crankset might cost £1500- although much of this is added value as the frame when bought new comes with a lifetime guarantee, plus if you break it you can get a replacement at substantial discount

Unfortunately, neither the guarantee nor the discount replacement applies when the frame is sold on to a 3rd party

Hence I think frame and crankset worth about £800 tops- unless the buyer doesnt realise there's no warranty with frame

    Good Luck!
