Hi all,

I have recently decided to upgrade my old spindle style bottom bracket, the cup and cone type with the bearings unsealed. The spindle has threads on it which are used with nuts to hold the crank arms on with.

I ordered a UN26 recently after checking the pdf data sheet

http://www.shimanoservicecentre.co.uk/S ... B-UN26.PDF

which states Item 1 as being the left hand adaptor and Item 2 crank arm fixing bolt (2off).

The problem and question I have is, why did i not receive the crank arm fixing bolts with my BB-UN26 which i ordered. are these bolts so easily come by that they are simply left omitted from bottom bracket orders in general, or has something else happened here? I did receive the left hand adaptor, which appears to be a cheap looking plastic thing that probably won't last two minutes with my weight >.>

Anyways, I just started commuting with my MTB, so plz excuse me if i seem a little... clueless.

Cheers for now

it does depend on where you ordered them from.

    standard M8 bolts.
