Short finger summer commuter gloves

Been looking on investing in my first pair. I grip the bars quite tightly and would probably need a good amount of padding / gel. Could someone recommend something under £30?
Cheers

I wear Endura FS260 Aerogel mitts.
I've not had any reason to try anything different.Mud - Genesis Vapour CCX

Castelli Rosso Corsas are a nip under £30 at Wiggle. I recommend that you don't buy these as mine are falling apart after only a month. They do look great, but you'd be better off buying a cheap pair and writing castelli on the finger ends with a tippex pen.0

Cheers - the first review says 'the terrible vibration from the cheapskate road surface leads to numbness and fatigue in the hands and fingers...The padding whilst being in all the right places just wasn't thick enough to cushion'

Specialized BG's (originally bought as MTB summer miitts but now double up as commuter miitts) work fine for me. Plenty of gel padding, not sure I've seen much more on any alternatives."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0

The bloke who wrote that probably needs to adjust his riding position.0 -

Just bought some at lunchtime, was fed up with my long finger fox mtb gloves I was using, never had numb hands but any extra comfort is a bonus0 -

Hope you like them or I'm in deep doo-doos :shock:0 -
I was looking at them before so don't worry I won't hunt you down or anything, but then again...0

I also have a pair of Spesh BG gel gloves. They've been great but after 18 months abuse they're a bit worn and need replacing. Not saying that's a pro or con as I don't know much about the expected lifecycle of cycling mitts...Rules are for fools.0

Got the cheaper Spesh BG which have been fine so far:

I wore them on my commute home, the difference was amazing, so much more comfort.0

I used the Spesh BG fingerless all last year. Loved them, now the weather is warm again I can't find the buggers. Pah, time for a new pair I guess.0
