The Monkey trail at cannoch has 3 long downhill sections mid way through. No idea what speed I got up to but its the fastest Ive been. Managed to pedal in top gear all the way down without touching the brakes. Even in top gear my legs were going as fast as they could spin

Can't remember what the fastest I've been down the quarries was, something stupid.
I do have this, however, from my first "proper" ride on the bike last year after I wrecked my knee. It was on the Marin trail
Not too shabby for someone who'd not been near a bike in months, on a brand new machine 8)
(yes I know it took a long time, but I could barely put any power down through the pedals, so the uphills were a grind!)

DHers are hitting 40+ on fast sections off the courses racing on like at Fort William. LOL
I don't have a bike addiction problem.....bikes seems to have a problem with me.....it just can't seem to stay on.
