On behalf of my mate who's got £800 burning a hole in his pocket. What wheels would you have.
These will go on his Trek Madone 6.5 '09 model.
Cheers

I sympathise with you Jared, I really do. But there are plenty of threads on this. I suggest you tell your mate to do his own research, if he values his 800 quid as it depends on what he wants to do with them, how tough they need to be, how big he is, how fashionable he wants to be, how he wants to buy them, and probably a few other things.Facts are meaningless, you can use facts to prove anything that's remotely true! - Homer0

Yeah I know, but what can you do?
He's a very good pal of mine and not all that "up to date" with technology. Getting him in front of a pc is a true miracle indeed.
Basically, he's a fit 82kg and can ride all day. He did the triple ascent Ventoux Challenge with me last year. He's just looking for a nice set of wheels to compliment his new warranty frame Trek have supplied. I suggested the Dura-ace wheelset, doesn't seem to be any adverse comments about these, alternatively the Fulcrum Zero's.
I told him to keep an eye on this forum, so he can get an idea of what's going on out there.
