What a glorious day.

Splottboy

1. Took 3 dogs to the beach, was about 28 degrees, so did easy jog thro the dunes/beach.

2. Walked to the top of 3,000 Iron Age fort to take some panormaic shots of the beach, Snowdonia mtns, and the Llynn peninsular.

3. Had nice sandwich back home...

4. Did an hour of easy Tae Kwon Do patterns for balance/flexibility.

5. Took in the afternoon sun.

6. Watched the Tour of Switzerland.

CRAP...Back in work tomorrow. Oh well...

sounds super, smashing, lovely as Jim would say, apart from the last bit. I managed to get out and soak some of it in before nose hit the grindstone

1. Up at 7 and out for a nice long ride. Found a massive long XC course (about 8miles) that's just been dug out in the local woods for a race on Sunday. Really tight and twisty through the trees with some good technical stuff and nice fast flowing sections.
Followed by a really nice, long, fast, loose, very rocky descent down to the old railway lines and home.

2. Back at 12. Quick shower, then out to 4yr olds first sports day. Discovered that she's very good at the egg and spoon race, the welly throwing, and the beanbag throwing, but she's no sprinter.

3. Finished at 3, over the road to the pub for an early tea. Mmmmmixed Grill with a pint of Budvar.

4. About to watch Monsters vs Aliens with 2 very tired small children.

EPIC WIN!

Also back at work tomorrow. Only for 1 day though
