Time shoes / SPD pedal compatibi;ity?

Can anyone tell me if Time shoes are compatible with Shimano SPD pedals? Been recommended these:

as possible "beginner shoes", but am unsure if they will fit with M520s & can't seem to find any conclusive info,

Yes the shoes will have a standard fitting that accepts any cleat. The cleats come with the pedals.

How Did you find the shoes?
What size did you get compared to your normal shoe size?
Been looking at these for my wife, Price is good but just wary of the old "Buy cheap, Buy twice"!!!
