alright guys,
got a new bike and intend to start biking to work, but my mum says ive got to get a helmet before im allowed! anyone got any recomdations arounds the 30 - 40 quid mark?

I'll second the Giro Hex suggestion. Mine is just awesome.
But as said already. You MUST go and try one on (especially as this seems to be your first time buying one). A poorly fitting helmet is pretty much as bad as no helmet at all.0 -
+1 for trying them on, i made the mistake of not and it failed completely.
my suggestion would be the bell slant, nice colour, cheap and adjustablke0 -

Not at all. I'm saying I like the one I've got, and would recommend it, but you need to try before you buy to ensure you get the correct size.

I get the cheapest Bell/Giro/Specialized ect on ebay, this time its a Bell something or other and it seems to work fine, but could be cooler.And now you know, and knowing is half the battle
