I went for a ride in the morning and settled down to watch (snooze through) some football in the afternoon.
I had to turn the sound off because those horns were disturbing my getting to sleep.
Missed the Gemany match because of the horns.
Those horns are a massive switch off - in fact to the point of not bothering to watch much more.

Looking forward to Tour de Fance and unexpectedly the tennis.
What is the coverage of Tour de France on Freeview going to be like this year?

Whenever I see an adult on a bicycle, I believe in the future of the human race.

I am going on the Nottingham Charity ride this weekend coming.

Maybe the organisers could give us all one of those horns...

Sunday 14th June, World Cup - time to turn the telly off/ove
As Sunday was 13th June and Monday was the 14th, can you clarify which year you are warning about.
If 2011, which world cup is on then

BTW you could always turn the commentary down/ off to avoid the noise
