    I got the gearing like that because I'm doing the Etape for the first time this year and thought it might make the climbs a little more manageable.

    The seat is a bit of a crippler as well to be honest so I think I'll change it to something a bit more forgiving.

    Ah its a compact..sorry....I thought it was a double chainset....you do right with a compact for the etape(not done it just what i have read on here)....good luck! :lol:

    It is a compact.
