Went on a ride this morning, for the second time with the new CAAD9. I though I'd see how I get on with the saddle it came with ...

My junk is still numbish.

Any recommendations on a saddle that won't make me feel like I'm shagging an ice cube? I get on with the Charge Spoon, but that'd look gash on the 'Dale.

Plus, it's dead noisy!

I had the same problem with the saddle on my new CAAD 9. I've stuck with it though, and 200 miles in it feels a lot more comfortable (the longest ride I've done though is only 50 miles). It might be worth sticking with it a bit longer...

I had one of them red bikes but I don't any more. Sad face.

I used my mate's Toupe once. Found it rather uncomfortable. Not sore exactly, but I just couldn't find a nice place to sit.

Think I'll leave the Pave CX on there for a while longer and see how things pan out. Hopefully nothing too bad happens and nothing falls off.

Thinking that if I can't get on with it I might try an SLR Gel Flow since folk seem to be recommending the Toupe, with its cutout. :? Plus, it looks like the blue would match rather nicely.

I wouldn't be able to put a Charge on anything but my bad weather bike, or a mountain bike. It'd just look sort of off. :?

Think I might have to get a zero offset post for the 'Dale though ... New saddle and seatpost could weigh heavily on my wallet. :(

I had a pave when I developed 'man problems'. I'd ditch it. Currently on a WTB Silverado or something. It's a light Ti MTB saddle but suits me.
