Ive got a heavily upgraded GT chucker jump bike which im in the process of turning into a good allround bike and was wondering what tyres i should get to replace my street ones on it at the moment . The tyre has to cope with any condition. Ive been looking at maxxis highrollers and Ardent are these good choices if not any suggestions please!

Have a look at Maxxis Minions as well.

TBH, for me it would be between the HR and Minion and the Minion will nearly always win for me

+1 for the Minion/High Roller set up. Iv never had a set up that rolls so well and grips on more or less anything (except wet, algae covered rocks)

minion 2.35 maxxpro folding front and crossmark 2.25 folding rear.

pedals fast but front and still grips like poo to a stick.

Recently fitted a minion 2.35 on the front and 2.35 high roller on the rear, grip is brilliant and is not slow rolling as alot of people said it would be,there are faster combos im sure but dont think they will grip as well.
Tyre choice always seems to be a compromise.

2.35 ardent front and 2.1 advantage rear, loads of grip and rolls well

razer mtb- 2.35 ardents don't exist.
2.35 minion 60a folding front, with ardent 2.25 60a folding on the rear would work well

I just put some new tires on my bike; ended up choosing the Panaracer Cedric Gracia XC 2.1 on the back and the Cedric Gracia 4X/AM 2.35 on the front. Truly is a winning combination. Climbs really well and rolls very nicely. The cornering is brilliant and they're responsive and burley for heading down fast. I love them so far. Will get them again and recommend them to anyone.
    Many happy trails!
