CYB, Trails should be dry as a bone.
No real rain here for a while.

glentress does look more appealing, but is it worth the extra 3hrs driving?

you just said 1 and a half hours driving, now it's 3 hours. Are you currently travelling away from it

Both are great, but I think Glentress has more variety. Couple it with the fact that Innerleithen is very very nearby as well, and it's one fricking amazing place to go riding.
Also, once you're done riding the trails (unlikely in a single day) you can spend a while playing at the "freeride" park.

Coed y Brenin has awesome trails as well, but it is more "traditional", with no real jumps and so on, just a mix of fast smooth swoopy singletrack., and some bone crunchingly rocky sections.
If you do head to coedy, then either the Dragon's back, or MBR are the trails to hit.
