Recommend me a Satnav?

Can anyone recommend me a Satnav? I'm looking for something with UK and Western Europe maps. I was attracted to the Garmin Nuvi 1490T as it was well reviewed in Which (and the crossover with the Garmin name) but I read that the car charger lead is very chunky and this seems to be necessary to plug into in order to get the traffic alerts.
So then I am looking at TomTom xl2 IQ but this doesn't have bluetooth, and you have to pay more for the aerial that gets the traffic alerts.
Can anyone recommend me something in the £150 to £200 range? And if I don't have the traffic alert systems, does that mean that the satnav wouldn't route round any traffic problems?

I have a Garmin and am happy with it, no real probs with the lead.
Or get a road atlasOld hippies don't die, they just lie low until the laughter stops and their time comes round again.

Tomtom go720 has been very good for me, has bluetooth so can make phone calls over it.
seems very accurate so far.
Just got the Darth Vader voice download too !
Not sure what the latest version would be, maybe go730 or so?0 -
