Has anyone ever done the Grand Traverse in France - supposedly a 10-20 day ride 60% off road from Volvic to Montpellier (actual start and finish are different places but never mind).
I was considering it for September and just wondered if it was actually a good ride or whether I'd find the terrain a bit lame? The guide book I read on it implied it was quite tricky but the guy writing was on a heavy ass rigid Lincoln mtb from the early 90's.
