Kashechkin... another one of those cases where the more you read, the more suspicious it gets. Like Gusev, or Bileka. Not saying the guy is innocent, but there was something pretty fishy about his case.

Kash's story is a strange one. It is hard to make sense of.

When I first heard that his defense was one of Human Rights violations -- I just rolled the eyes.

What was the fall out between Kash and Vino?

I love how the Kaz federation president was the Astana owner. No conflict there.

Talk about drama. Where is Borat when you need him?

I'm please for him if he gets a gig in a decent team. His story does seem very odd.

Not sure about a fall out between Kash and Vino. I think that Vino hasn't ruled out signing up Kash for Astana in 2011, but 2010 season would be too soon for the team (risk to race invites etc.). An ex-doper too far!
He also suggested that Contador would not be happy to ride in the same team as Kash, possibly for the same reason? Although I can imagine having those 2 as team mates would make Bertie feel a little uneasy as they are a mini team on their own. I watched a DVD of the 2006 Vuelta a couple of months ago, their relationship was almost telepathic, seldom riding next to each but systematically taking Valverde apart with well co-ordinated, attacks. Would be like leading a team which included the Schlecks.
