I sold my Greenday tickets on ebay a day ago but the buyer hasn't paid. I've sent the invoice twice now but i'm getting a bit anxious that they might pay at the last min.
Thing is.. the gig is on Wednesday, so where do i stan if they pay but don't receive the tickets in time?
OR
they don't pay and the gig passes?
Cheers,
Ben

No comms from the buyer in response to the email? They might collect in person. If they delay the despatch through late payment then you can't be blamed for that though Ebay might say different :x Keep on trying to get hold of them, do everything you can to get it sorted from your end and keep all the messages you send just in case the buyer does raise a dispute with Ebay.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

I'd give them another day and then relist them.
Do you mention in your auction a time limit in which you wish people to pay ? I wouldnt be surprised if someone has bid on them and won with the intention of paying you on Friday when they get paid perhaps?
I understand you impatience however...I hate slow payers on there.0 -
To be blunt if they don't pay and the gig passes i think you've had it. Ebay most probably wont help you out.
If they don't pay tomorrow at the latest put them back on and hope for a sale.0 -
You could try www.getmein.com or similar to shift em on at short notice ?0

Any emails sent have been copied to me email address so they're all saved... had no response at all.
i refused the 1st offer, but accepted the 2nd offer and heard nothing since....
Thing is...If I relist now, there is no guarantee I'll sell them again0 -

I don't see why though... the way I see it, they bought the tickets in more than enough time for me to send them and the "buy it now" button is committing the buyer to the sale.0 -

For "Buy it now", you could have forced instant payment. Speak to the other bidders, see if any of them are interested, and if you don't get a response from the winner by Friday evening, give the 2nd highest bidder a 2nd-chance offer.0 -

It was a best offer..... I took the 2nd offer from the buyer. The buy it now was immediate payment
Had a load of questions but no other offers so 2nd chance doesn't help
I've got until sunday before I can open a dispute.... and the ebay rules/guidelines say to start a dispute before re-listing0 -
Ebay isn't going to help you with this. They won't force someone to cough up even if they're 100% at fault. The best you'll get is a non payment strike against them which doesn't mean much in reality.
Relist them, Ebay can't in reality do much to you either unless you have a huge feedback score with a particular account. It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.
I've bought a new bike....ouch - result
Can I buy a new bike?...No - no result0 -

Ebay is a waste of time, its full of scum. It used to be good when you could make a living selling fake dvds and designer sunglasses, people used to trust each other.0
