Brake adaptors, are they all equal?

A question to the more experienced boffins here:
Are all brake adaptors identical? I know any adaptor will work, but are the dimensions set in stone or can they have different angles?
The reason i ask is that the avid rear mount on the wip inbred (below) is a very snug fit, and as such i don't have much adjustment to account for wheel position. Ideally I'd like on that would rotate the calliper around the disc a smidge to give me the small amount of clearance i need to move the brake more in the plane of the dropouts.

No, they can be slightly different in design which can lead to some issues.0

super, do you know of any which rotate the traditionally lower edge of the calliper furthest away from the frame?0

Not really lol, so many out there.
Sometimes can be pot luck in the adaptor stakes.0 -
