for brakes i would go for avid elixir 5 or r. amazing brakes and you can get them at amazing prices

That's interesting. Cannodale's strange suspension ideas that I personally think they look dumb. But if they ride well, why not.
Even that swing arm at the back is very different.

For your money you can't go wrong with these brakes, if I remember correctly they got a top 3 place in the recent WMB big brake test. They're a piece of cake to fit, bleed, adjust and they use mineral oil instead of Dot fluid which is much safer to use.
