Exactly that. Is GT still in Green?
I, as a Welshman, feel pretty good about his performance (as far as I've seen it) in the Dauphine....
What do the rest of you think?
You're a thoughtful and knowledgeable bunch, after all.

Assuming there are sprint points on the course he could storm the 1st 2/3rds to get the jersey, but he's probably better doing the TT properly to assess his form. After all, he's got one for the wall already.

As another Taff I'd love to see him a) ride the Tour and b) get a stage but I think he'll be shepherding Brad the entire 3 weeks.

Any views on his Wiggoesque lean-nes and whether he's thus likely to storm the Alpe this week?

he looks leaner, he is very young and clearly has an excellent engine. he also finished his first tour - isnt he one of the youngest tour finishers?
i think he has good potential, not sure about storming the alp but he climbed well in the baby giro i recall

edit i am a taff by stepfather so admit to a softspot for G

He was the youngest rider in the Tour the year he took part. Came in last-but-one as I recall, but hey ho, it's still an achievement.
I guess he does look a little 'Wiggish', but I guess they're sharing coaches more than ever these days.

Good luck to him I say. He's working hard.

GT comes from my old club, I remember seeing him as a nipper and thinking jesus he's going to be good. Nicole Cooke was from the same club, shame it didn't rub off on me.

I really hope he wins a stage and manages to keep green.
