Mono mini adaptor

Hi all
I recently purchased SID race 2010 not realising (silly of me :roll: ) that they're IS mount, i have Hope mono minis which are post mount, i know there are adaptors available but all i can find is an adaptor to run them with 20mm larger rotors, i dont want to run 203mm rotors coz it looks daft on an xc hardtail, is there an adaptor to allow me to run 180 rotors?

yes an IS to post 180 adaptor. there are shed loads out there.

Are you sure? pretty sure they have been post mount since 2008.

correct but the OP does say IS. and his MONOs are post so....

but whatever the OP has yes you can runs any size disc you want

but Sram only warrents up to 185mm on their 2010 SIDs.

arse hayes have moved them , now fixed.

He may have them mixed up (it's not uncommon), I can't find any from 2008 onwards with I.S. mount. Unless he's bought 2007's that have wrong year described. Pic's Mr Rolo Rider? pre 07 mini's were I.S. caliper, 07 Mini's are post but came with I.S. adapters already fitted (I have them), maybe where the confusion is.

Thanks chaps, not sure how old minis are, ebay job, will post pics tomorrow

Older ones have gold bore caps on the caliper, newer ones were black.

the 2010 sids were PM, at least the two sets i've used are!

Sorry for confusion guys, SIDs are PM, Minis are IS with gold caps :oops: . I found an old thread http://www.bikeradar.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=16191694, i hope this is what i need.

yes and you will use the original sized disc.
