Anyone doing the TLI tonight at Oulton Park?

This will be my first road race - was wondering how many people typically do these events Under 40 age)?

Numbers slightly down on last year.. prob due to the crap weather during the day but it stayed dry and ideal for the evening tho'
Fast and fun as usual but only to be expected at one of the best circuits in the country, but I am biased being born within earshot of the circuit many Stirling Moss years ago.

25mph average is not fast for a bunch of 120

    You should be ashamed

Dearest Leader of the Grande Armée, your comment appears to imply you have raced there before so please excuse me not picking up a charlatan at the head of your ranks.

I'm in the process of reviewing you contributions here and may have to file you under armchair enthusiast unless i can find other evidence.

    Thats is all for now...

    File me where you like!

I'm not an armchair enthusiast, or an enthusiast of any home furnishings for that matter. Although I like nice curtains.

I raced there this week, it was great fun. Probably the easiest peloton to ride in, despite the high speed. There are no sharp corners, no hard climbs and the surface is perfect... you can just sit there for an hour reading the paper. Although I attacked about 3 times.

Saying that, I doubt a fat tester could stay with the bunch :D

I do hope you took an envelope home if it was that easy?

Riding in the bunch was easy, winning the race tends to be the hard bit.
