Just bought me first full sus

Hi folks
After many months of searching, i've finally bought my first full sus namely the Specialized FSR XC Comp 2010. Now here's the problem, i've never ridden a full sus before so iam into new territory, can anyone pass any hints and tips and anything else i might need to know.

welcome to the fsr xc club!
1. sitting down is much more efficient that standing on the climbs, so get that saddle higher!
2. you get less bob with smoother pedalling action and with faster rather than slower cranking
3. i found spds made standing up climbing much more efficient so if you haven't it may be something to look into
